The Mamaia-Constanța Destination Management Organization announces the launch of one of the largest events of the summer of 2025, designed to diversify the resort’s tourism offerings and attract a diverse audience: the “Dino Rex Mamaia” themed exhibition.
From July 27 to September 7, 2025, the park located in front of the iconic Hotel Rex in the resort town of Mamaia will host a large-scale exhibition dedicated to the prehistoric world. The event is organized in partnership with OMD Mamaia-Constanța.
“Dino Rex Mamaia” brings to Mamaia, for the first time, an impressive collection of over 40 life-size animatronic exhibits that faithfully depict dinosaur species and giant mammals from the prehistoric era. Each exhibit is designed to move and reproduce characteristic sounds, offering a captivating experience for all age groups. The exhibition also includes interactive educational areas designed to inform children, families, and paleontology enthusiasts.
The event has a strong educational and recreational focus and is part of the Mamaia-Constanța OMD’s strategy to support the development of themed tourism, with an emphasis on innovation and unique experiences that complement the traditional offerings of the summer season.

The exhibition will be open to the public daily during two time slots: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
The primary mission of the Mamaia-Constanța Destination Management Organization is to promote and ensure the sustainable development of the Mamaia resort and the Constanța metropolitan area as tourist destinations of national and international interest. Through strategic initiatives, public-private partnerships, and support for innovative projects, the Mamaia-Constanța DMO actively contributes to diversifying the tourism offering, increasing the area’s appeal, and strengthening the image of the Romanian coast on the global tourism market.
