The Mamaia Constanța Destination Management Organization (DMO) successfully concluded its participation in the ITB Berlin 2025 International Tourism Fair, held from March 3–6. Over the course of the three days, our team held productive meetings with international tour operators and representatives of the tourism industry, strengthening our destination’s position in the European market.
On the first day of the event, we explored innovative solutions for attracting tourists through advanced technologies presented by European companies. We also initiated discussions with tour operators from Slovakia and Croatia, with the aim of including the Mamaia resort in their travel packages.

On the second day, we continued our series of meetings with tour operators and travel agencies from various European countries, promoting travel packages that combine beach vacations with cultural experiences and nature excursions, tailored to the preferences of German tourists.
In addition, I had the honor of speaking with Romania’s Ambassador to Germany, Her Excellency Adriana-Loreta Stănescu, about opportunities to promote the Mamaia-Constanța destination in the German market. We discussed joint strategies for attracting German tourists, emphasizing the authentic and diverse experiences offered by the Romanian coast.

On the last day of the fair, we were delighted to discover that it’s not just Europeans who are drawn to Mamaia Constanța as a destination. We met with representatives of the tourism industry from India and Egypt, who expressed interest in bringing tourists from their countries to the Romanian coast.
Foreign tourists also had the opportunity to learn about the stories behind Romanian wines during a presentation given by an experienced sommelier at the Romanian booth. After the presentation, they enjoyed the authentic taste of the most renowned wines from our country’s traditional wineries.

At the end of the day, the OMD Mamaia Constanța team attended the 10th edition of the Donausalon (Danube Salon) international conference, organized by the Baden-Württemberg State Representation.
“Our participation in ITB Berlin 2025 gave us the opportunity to showcase the beauty and diversity of our destination to an international audience. We are delighted by the interest shown by our international partners and the prospects for collaboration during the 2025 summer season. We look to the future with confidence and are ready to make Mamaia Constanța an increasingly visible and appreciated destination on the international tourism map!” said Natalia Vrânceanu, Public Relations Specialist at OMD Mamaia Constanța.

Following a successful appearance at ITB Berlin 2025, OMD Mamaia Constanța continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting our destination internationally. We aim to attract as many tourists as possible from all corners of the world, offering them a wide range of authentic and memorable experiences along the Romanian coast.
