The summer concerts continue in Mamaia

A feast of live music featuring Claudia Pătrășcanu and Marius Mihalache, along with their guests. The most popular resort on the Black Sea coast continues to delight its visitors with spectacular concert evenings. After a memorable long weekend featuring three shows on the stage in Piațeta Cazino, where top-tier artists such as Elena Gheorghe, Iulia Dumitrache, Ionela Guzic, Connect-R, and the famous pan flute player Nicolae Voiculeț performed, Mamaia is ready for another unbeatable weekend.

On Saturday, August 19, the fun returns to the resort’s center with the sounds of the cimbalom and exceptional live performances. Twenty-five years after her debut on the Romanian music scene, Claudia Pătrășcanu returns home to Constanța for a solo concert dedicated to both those nostalgic for the music of the 2000s and fans of the new generation. Starting at 8:30 p.m., the former member of the band Exotic will kick off an unforgettable evening in the open air.

After a pop-inspired opening, the show continues with a journey through folk, jazz, and classical music, performed in a unique style by Romania’s most renowned cimbalom player, Marius Mihalache, who will take the stage alongside his guests, Arabela Nicolau and Mihai Mărgineanu.

The promise of the biggest concert of the summer in Mamaia is one you won’t want to miss: an evening filled with rhythm, melody, and poetry—a true musical feast that will delight audiences of all ages.

Representatives of the Mamaia-Constanța Destination Management Organization (DMO) expect this weekend to be full of life and energy as well. George Măndilă, President of the OMD, states:“Mamaia has long been the center of entertainment on the coast, but we are proud that this summer we have managed to bring the atmosphere previously enjoyed only by those who went to clubs right into the heart of the resort. Previous weekends have shown us that Mamaia can once again attract large numbers of visitors, and we are proud to see that tourists and locals alike are responding enthusiastically to the events we organize. The atmosphere on the boardwalk, the beaches, and the lively terraces reaffirm that the resort fully deserves the title of Destination of the Year 2023.”

The event scheduled for Saturday is the ninth concert organized this summer by OMD Mamaia Constanța for tourists visiting the resort. No fewer than 15 artists and bands have taken the stage so far in the small square in front of the Casino. In addition, spectators at last weekend’s event had the opportunity to enjoy, in addition to the performances, a light and laser show that danced across the sky in Mamaia.

Those who can’t make it to the stage in Piațeta Cazinoului this weekend can still enjoy the experience live and online. The concerts in Mamaia are being streamed live on OMD’s official social media accounts.
