Second Participation in the Warsaw International Tourism Fair (TT Warsaw)
To increase the visibility of Mamaia and Constanța as tourist destinations, as well as the number of Polish tourists, by establishing partnerships with the industry’s leading tour operators. These are the key objectives that the Mamaia Constanța Destination Management Organization has set for its second participation in this year’s TT Warsaw International Tourism Fair. The event takes place from November 29 to December 1, 2024, and brings together several hundred exhibitors from around the world.

“Following the tourism trade shows in Italy and the United Kingdom, it was Poland’s turn. We concluded our first participation this year at ITTF Warsaw, where representatives of the Polish Chamber of Tourism welcomed us very warmly and we spoke with several key tour operators in the industry. Last year, we participated for the first time in the TT Warsaw International Tourism Fair, where we met with many Polish tourists. “In fact, as an event open to the general public and featuring B2C meetings, it is an excellent opportunity for us to learn what Polish tourists want in terms of vacations through direct interactions with those who visit ourbooth,” said George Măndilă, President of the Mamaia Constanța Destination Management Organization.

The team from the Mamaia Constanța Destination Management Organization attending this year’s Warsaw Travel Fair consists of: Sebastian Puznava – Vice President of the Mamaia Constanța DMO, Oana Silviana Crăciun – Communications & Public Relations Specialist, Alessandra Frunteș – Marketing Specialist, and Alexandru Constantin – Photographer.
“Meetings withinternational tour operators will be important , as will the promotion of attractive travel packages tailored to Polish tourists. Our destination offers authentic and memorable experiences; the Mamaia resort has a great deal to offer in terms of tourist services—from 3-star to 5-star hotels, rates are tailored to preferences, both for those seeking relaxation and for those looking for fun or a quiet place to spend their summer vacation with their children,” says Sebastian Puznava, Vice President of the Mamaia Constanța Destination Management Organization.
Prior to the official opening of the Warsaw International Tourism Fair (TT Warsaw – International Tourism Fair), the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism (MEAT) launched an outdoor promotional campaign for Romania, which will run from November 16 to December 15, 2024, in the cities of Warsaw and Kraków, Poland. The campaign’s objective is to increase Romania’s visibility as a tourist destination and to generate interest among Polish tourists.

The promotional campaign will run for 30 days and will include a mesh display at Kraków Airport, over 1,800 digital screens on trams and buses in Warsaw, as well as posters with stickers. The digital screens will highlight vacation destinations in Romania at Warsaw’s main train stations, as well as in the city’s iconic, high-traffic areas.
Established last spring, OMD Mamaia Constanța aims to launch a wide-ranging campaign designed to change Romanians’ perception of the vacation experience that Mamaia Constanța can offer across all segments of Black Sea tourism.
